Connect With Promethee:
Founded in early 2008 upon completion of the line-up, PROMETHEE has rapidly gathered attention in Europe, playing numerous shows in Switzerland and France in front of a fast growing audience. Releasing their first 5 track EP in March 2010, PROMETHEE confirmed their status as unavoidable newcomers among the European metal scene.
Performing throughout Europe and and as far as Canada and Cuba, playing to large audiences and festivals, the band returned to the studio in late 2011 to record their debut album, “Nothing Happens. Nobody Comes, Nobody Goes”, which released in October 2012, launching them even further. With praise from major press outlets (Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, Legacy Magazine) and respect from their audience for their technical and musical mastery, the album became a standout among 2012’s European Releases.
PROMETHEE developed their image by releasing polished clips, live videos, playthrough, and other footage that was seen by hundreds of thousands of fans around the world. Together with more than 150 shows played in some 10 countries, the band’s visibility continued to grow and build momentum.
After the years of experiences, a fan base growing from day to day with tens of thousands of active followers, and touring as much as humanly possible, the band has never been so motivated, wanting to play and work with artists from every horizon to make their mark in the international alternative culture.
