Trash Pop Icons HEAD TO SXSW 2014!
San Francisco, CA – February 27, 2013 – The Trash Pop Icons are heading to Austin for SXSW 2014! Fronted by sisters Naomi and Nadia Zep, with Bobby Templin on drums, the power-pop sisters have been making music together for over a decade and have established quite a presence in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Trash Pop Icons released their first full-length album “A Way With Words” in July 2013 through Vindicated Records. When fronting their previous band, Letters Make Words, they earned themselves a spot on the Vans Warped Tour, playing the Kevin Say Stage, and were named one of the Top 10 Bands in the Bay Area by Live105 Radio Music Director Aaron Axelsen. In addition, The Trash Pop Icons won the first annual Whole Foods Market and VH1 ‘Raw and Unprocessed’ Team Member Music Project in 2012, which gave them the opportunity to play Live In The Vineyard music festival in Napa Valley.
This will be bands first time in Austin for the South-by-Southwest festivities.
