LIME CORDIALE Stream New EP Falling Up The Stairs on NYLON Guys

Available in North America Tomorrow,

February 25th!

“Their pop-laced, brass-tinged rock’n’roll is the perfect accompaniment to long, sunny days sipping brews with friends. Where they stand out though, among a sea of carefree, upbeat pop bands, is in their ability to write some of the most memorable and melodic hooks this side of Abbey Road. Beach Boys, eat your heart out.”  Sydney Morning Herald

“A knock-out punch of fun… a nimble and full-sounding tune that is hard to shake.”

Fronted by brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach, Lime Cordiale’s new EP showcases the band’s uniquely Australian sound, featuring quirky lyrics, pop hooks and big brass licks. Recorded over four months with Sydney producer Daniel Denholm (Washington, The Whitlams, Billy Thorpe, MidnightOil), the EP has already been applauded by fans and critics alike since its release.

We have built a strong team of US industry members for Lime Cordiale’s release who will no doubt contribute to the band’s growth in America and Canada in the future.  Along with our own office in Toronto, and my partner Matthew Lazarus-Hall based in LA, everyone is excited to be working with Lime Cordiale who are fast gaining a considerable live following in Australia” said manager Michael Chugg.

The last 12 months have seen Lime Cordiale perform to receptive audiences throughout Australia, including sold-out headline shows in Sydney earlier this year, well received sets at Australia’s biggest music conference BIGSOUNDHomebake, Peats Ridge and Deni Blues festivals, and gigs alongside the likes of The RubensThe Specials (UK), Ball Park Music and most recently, as main support on Cosmo Jarvis’ (UK) national tour throughout Australia.

Lime Cordiale tells us, “We’re extremely pleased to present our new EP to North America. Quote a few lines to your girlfriend or boyfriend, and they’ll either love you forever or never speak to you again.  Either way – we made a record to dance and sweat to, which captures the energy of our live show.”

Lime Cordiale will move to Los Angeles this month to support the release after recently signing to The Agency Group, with Val Wolfe and Crystal Moore on-board as responsible agents. They are also planning to tour in North America and Canada in March 2014, with performances already locked in at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.  The band will perform at the The Aussie BBQ and the Chugg Music official SXSW showcase – Michael Chugg’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
