(New York, NY) – Razor & Tie announces the addition of the Chicago, IL metalcore/hardcore band Sworn In to its Worldwide label roster.  The band recently completed work on their forthcoming debut full length album, The Death Card, to be released this summer.

Sworn In’s Tyler Dennen comments, “We are happy to announce we have officially signed with Razor & Tie. We are excited for our future with them and feel they will help us move forward as the band we want to become. Thanks to everyone who have support us thus far. We are amazed how far we have come in just two short years with only two EPs.. The Death Card is coming.”

The Death Card will be the Sworn In’s debut full length studio album. The young quintet has previously released two EPsCatharsis and Start/End. The new album was produced by the band and was mixed by Brian Hood (A Plea For Purging, Gideon).  Sworn  In will play the Skate and Surf Festival and hit the road this May with For The Fallen Dreams, Hundredth, Upon This Dawning, Gideon, Wolves At The Gate & To The Wind (tour dates below).  The band has previously toured with King Conquer, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life and Adaliah and have played the New England Metal Fest, Jamboree, and SXSWhat.

Sworn In is Tyler Dennen (Vocals), Chris George (Drums), Zakary Gibson (Guitar), Sean Banks (bass) and Eugene Kamlyuk (Guitar). The band is managed by Jeff Menig of The Power Kingdom and represented for touring by Matt Andersen of The Pantheon Agency.

Sworn In is the latest addition to independent label Razor & Tie’s expanding Rock roster that currently includes such artists as HIM, All That Remains, The Sword, Hatebreed, For Today, P.O.D., Such Gold, Nonpoint, Chelsea Grin, Shadows Fall, Norma Jean, Attila, and many more.  The New York City-based label is one of the fastest growing independent record companies in the United States, and has garnered both Platinum sales and Grammy awards in its 20-year history.
