A Rocket To The Moon Q&A

Q: Please introduce yourselves and tell us your role in the band.

Andrew, drums!

Q: What’s your favorite part about being in a band?

Playing live shows and traveling around the world.

Q: Least favorite part?

Leaving my friends and family when I go on tour.

Q: How do you go about writing your songs?

They usually start with Justin and Nick writing together and demoing the song out. Then we get together and jam the song and see how it feels.

Q:  You guys recently finished a new album, and had a chance to work with famed country producer Mark Bright. What was that like?

It was incredible. Mark is a truly unique guy with an amazing set of ears. It was an honor working with him.

Q: We hear you guys have embarked on a tour with the All American Rejects, are you excited to be back on the road again?

Very much so! Tonight is the first night, so we are all itching to play a new song live.

Q: What city has been your favorite to play at so far?

I have many. Chicago, Boston, NYC, LA, etc

Q:  If you could play on your dream tour, what bands would be on it?

Tom Petty, Death Cab, and Jimmy Eat World.

Q: When you have down time, what do you guys like to do for fun?

I like to write scripts, paint, watch movies, read, and play soccer.

Q: What’s the best movies you’ve seen recently, and what movie do you think has the best soundtrack?

It’s hard to top The Bodyguard when it comes to soundtracks. The last twilight movie had my favorite Iron & Wine song on the soundtrack, which I thought was cool. The best movie I’ve seen lately? Probably the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Q: What new things coming up can the fans expect to see from you guys; albums, tours, etc…?

Brand new album soon, and lots of touring to follow!

Q: Thank you so much for your time, we really appreciate it! Any final words you want to say to your fans?

Thank you for supporting us and being patient while we made this new album. It’ll be worth the wait!
